Marines from the 26th MEU were on site last week for our CBRN Concepts Course. Training included emerging threats, glassware recognition & sampling, equipment confidence in our environmental chamber, & live pathogen detection & disinfection techniques. The week concluded with a full mission profile exercise, requiring live radiation mapping in our subway tunnel & collapsed structures, Sensitive Site Exploitation (SSE) on multiple clan labs, & decontaminating casualties.
