Company Overview:
Guardian Centers of Georgia LLC is seeking a highly qualified Negotiation and Crisis Management Instructor to provide training in negotiation tactics, crisis management, and conflict resolution. This contract position requires an individual with extensive experience in crisis negotiation, de-escalation techniques, and handling high-risk situations, who can train military, law enforcement, and emergency personnel in managing complex crises effectively.
Position Description:
As a Negotiation and Crisis Management Instructor, you will be responsible for training law enforcement and military personnel in the skills needed to navigate critical situations, including hostage negotiations, crisis de-escalation, and emergency decision-making. You will deliver training in both classroom settings and simulated real-world scenarios, preparing trainees to manage conflicts, negotiate under pressure, and make sound decisions during high-stress situations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction in crisis negotiation, conflict resolution, and emergency management.
- Train personnel in de-escalation techniques, hostage negotiation strategies, and crisis communication.
- Deliver hands-on training in real-time decision-making, negotiation tactics, and scenario-based crisis management.
- Instruct trainees in verbal and non-verbal communication skills and behavioral analysis for effective negotiations.
- Lead simulated crisis scenarios, including hostage situations, barricades, and high-stress confrontations.
- Teach personnel how to establish command and control in emergency situations and lead crisis management teams.
- Collaborate with other instructors to integrate negotiation and crisis management into comprehensive training programs.
- Conduct after-action reviews (AARs) to evaluate student performance and provide feedback on negotiation and crisis management scenarios.
- Maintain accurate training records.
- Ensure readiness and proper utilization of all communication and negotiation tools during training exercises.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in crisis negotiation, conflict resolution, or emergency management.
- Proven expertise in managing high-risk situations, including hostage negotiations, crisis communication, and emergency response.
- U.S. military, law enforcement, or Federal crisis negotiation experience is preferred.
- Ability to instruct personnel in simulated high-stress, dynamic environments.
- Strong proficiency in negotiation tactics, de-escalation techniques, and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with psychological and behavioral analysis for conflict resolution.
