Paramedic Instructor

Company Overview:

Guardian Centers of Georgia LLC is seeking a highly qualified Basic Paramedic who is National Registry Certified to provide medical instruction to military and law enforcement personnel.

Position Description:

As a Basic Paramedic (National Registry Certified), you will be responsible for delivering both classroom and hands-on instruction in emergency medical procedures and trauma care. You will instruct students on a variety of life-saving techniques, ensuring they are prepared for real-world medical emergencies in urban, tactical, and field environments. The position requires travel as needed for training assignments.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction in basic life support (BLS), trauma care, and emergency medical procedures.
• Train military and law enforcement personnel in field medical care, including trauma lanes and casualty management.
• Administer medical aid training during exercises and field scenarios.
• Collaborate with curriculum developers to integrate medical care into training programs.
• Maintain accurate training records and provide student evaluations.
• Ensure all medical equipment and supplies are properly prepared and maintained for training scenarios.

Qualifications:

• National Registry Certified Basic Paramedic.
• 2+ years of experience as a paramedic or emergency medical technician (EMT).
• Proven experience in trauma care, patient stabilization, and field medical procedures.
• Familiarity with advanced medical protocols such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) is preferred.
• Ability to train personnel in austere, high-stress environments.
• Experience working in military or law enforcement settings is a plus.
