Company Overview:

Guardian Centers of Georgia LLC is seeking a skilled Rescue Medic to provide emergency medical care and instruction in search and rescue operations. This contract position requires an experienced medic capable of delivering life-saving interventions in high-risk environments and training military and law enforcement personnel in rescue and recovery operations.

Position Description:

As a Rescue Medic Instructor, you will be responsible for developing instructional materials and training personnel in emergency medical procedures for rescue operations. You will instruct trainees in Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), casualty evacuation (CASEVAC), and field trauma care procedures. This position requires travel as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Author and authenticate training materials for scenarios that replicate search and rescue missions in high-threat, challenging environments.
  • Deliver training in rescue medical procedures, including Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and trauma management.
  • Train personnel in casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) techniques and medical stabilization in rescue operations.
  • Instruct trainees in trauma lanes, mass casualty scenarios, and medical response during rescue missions.
  • Work alongside other instructors to integrate medical care into rescue training programs.
  • Conduct after-action reviews (AARs) and provide feedback on student performance.
  • Maintain accurate training records and report on trainee progress.
  • Ensure all medical and rescue equipment is properly handled, operational, and ready for use during training exercises.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with advanced life support protocols such as ACLS, PALS, and BLS.
  • Ability to provide training in austere, high-stress environments.
  • Proficiency in rescue operations and casualty evacuation techniques.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance is considered a bonus.

Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a rescue medic or in a related emergency medical role.
  • National Registry Paramedic Certification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in trauma management, emergency medical care, and field medicine.
  • Experience in search and rescue operations or high-risk medical scenarios preferred.
