Company Overview:
Guardian Centers of Georgia LLC is seeking a highly skilled Tactical Driving Instructor to provide advanced training in tactical vehicle operations. This contract position is designed for individuals with extensive experience in high-performance, defensive, and off-road driving, who can train military, law enforcement, and security personnel in precision driving techniques essential for convoy security, evasive maneuvers, and pursuit operations.
Position Description:
As a Tactical Driving Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering specialized training in tactical driving techniques, including high-speed maneuvers, off-road navigation, and vehicle control under adverse conditions. You will train personnel in both classroom and practical environments, ensuring they are prepared to operate vehicles safely and effectively in a variety of tactical scenarios.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction in advanced tactical driving techniques, including defensive driving, pursuit, and evasive maneuvers.
- Train personnel in off-road navigation, vehicle recovery, and operating in diverse terrain and weather conditions.
- Deliver hands-on training in convoy security, route selection, and threat avoidance.
- Instruct trainees on high-speed vehicle control, emergency braking, and skid recovery.
- Lead practical driving exercises, including vehicle drills, pursuit scenarios, and convoy operations under simulated threat conditions.
- Collaborate with other instructors to integrate tactical driving into comprehensive training programs.
- Conduct after-action reviews (AARs) and provide feedback on student performance.
- Maintain accurate training records.
- Ensure readiness of training vehicles and driving equipment used during exercises.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in tactical driving, law enforcement, or military vehicle operations.
- Proven expertise in high-speed driving, defensive maneuvers, and off-road navigation.
- U.S. military or law enforcement experience with tactical vehicle operations is preferred.
- Ability to instruct personnel in simulated high-stress, high-risk environments.
- Proficiency in vehicle control techniques, pursuit driving, and convoy security tactics.
- Familiarity with advanced vehicle recovery techniques and off-road driving skills.
